We believe that the entire Bible is the Word of God. It is the center and focus of everything that we do at BLC. We are a ministry based on the Word and Sacraments. We encourage all of our members and guests, regardless of age, time in the church, and biblical knowledge to join a Small Group or bible study. Small Groups are groups that meet on an ongoing basis that revolve around the Word and service.
No matter your age, or season of life, you are a member of the BLC family. We are dedicated to helping people of all ages grow in their faith though preschool, Sunday school, youth and adult Bible study. There are activities and events for every member of your family. We strive to provide a wide range of service opportunities that allow each person to express their faith through servant activities, education and missions. We believe that it is a part of our spiritual health to worship, pray and serve together as the Body of Christ.
We are a Great Commission congregation that seeks to impact our world for Christ. We look to the biblical model of Acts 1:8, “and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth,” and see our service and witness as being local, regional, cultural and global in scope. We strive to make Christ known throughout our community and the world through our language and our lifestyles. All members are urged to participate and engage in ministry that takes the message to the lost at home and far away through acts of mercy and service where God has gifted and equipped them.
The LCMS Office of National Mission works within the borders of the United States to support the programs and resources available to congregations, districts, schools, Recognized Service Organizations and other Lutheran organizations.
