The Body of Christ
The Body of Christ at Bethlehem believes that God has given each of us special gifts and abilities that are to be used through out each of our lives in the contexts in which we live, work and play. We are the hands and feet of Christ as we minister to and help our neighbor.
Knowing and Proclaiming, Growing and Going, Living and Sharing
These are the tenants of our Outreach Ministry at Bethlehem. We believe in the Great Commission and want to see all come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
Impacting The World, Here and There
We seek to live out our faith through Acts 1:8 as we impact
the world in Jerusalem – Jacksonville, Judea –
he United States, Samaria – different cultures, and
the ends of the earth with international missions.
We Are Not Alone
As we seek to witness to those around us, we realize that we are not alone and that it is better and more effective to act as a team. Since BLC is a missional congregation, this is easy to do! We partner with Sunday School in our yearly mission schedule, Fellowship on special events, Worship as we celebrate outside our church building in the community, Education as we equip the saints in special missions and spiritual gifts studies, and with other churches as we know that working together in unity is always what God had in mind.
